Konse Kura Konse
Chairperson/Founder Konse Kura is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb), and a Legal Researcher. He is the founder and Chairperson of the organization. With his confident and charming demeanor, Kura embodies the spirit of a gladiator, facing challenges head-on. No obstacle deters him; he relishes challenges and goes the extra mile to resolve issues effectively. Kura's methodical approach allows him to envision the big picture and map out the necessary steps to achieve goals. Like the organization, he ensures that every step counts towards its objectives of physical fitness, mental awareness, environmental protection and conservation, peace, cohesion, and awareness campaigns. His interests include traveling, reading, researching, and sports. "If you can dream it, you can achieve it."
Habiba Ailo Adan
Vice Chairperson, Born and brought up in Marsabit,Ailo is a trailblazer on Women & Gender advocacy and a Conflict Manager besides being a Village Elder within Mountain Location. Ailo is also Chairperson Township Village Elders Council, Marsabit Paralegal, Human Right Defender and a member of Marsabit Counter Extremism Forum ( CEF). "Gender equality is the goal that will help abolish poverty that will create more equal economies, fairer societies and happier men, women and children."
H.Warden Juma Boru Halake
Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director Juma,is the CEO/Executive Director and among the Pioneers of Marsabit Walk Movement (MWM). He is also the Director and founder of Switworld Technologies and communications Limited & Paradise Inn Ahmed Gate Limited whose ideas, intentions and initiatives of its members gave birth to Marsabit Walk Movement (MWM). He is an enterpreneur and a seasoned businessman in Marsabit County. Calm seas never made a good sailor. Franklin D. Roosevelt
Mrs. Amina Abdullahi (Mish Patel)
Organizing Secretary Born in 1985 in Saku, Marsabit County. She was brought up in Sessi, Moyale Sub County. She went to St. Mary's Primary School in Moyale and later Misyani Girls High School in Kangundo, Machakos County. She later pursued Community Health and HIV/AIDS Management at Mt. Kenya University, Nakuru Campus. Amina is currently working at Dakabaricha Dispensary as Community Health Officer and is 6 years in service. She is a social activist and a Bollywood lover also known in social space by the name "Mish Patel." She also loves adventure and has a passion for cooking.
Hon. Adhi Bino
Management Hon. Adhi, born in 1977 in Bubisa, Marsabit County, is a Clinical Medicine and Environmental Health professional with advanced studies in Dermatology. She completed her early education at Bubisa Primary and Moi Girls Secondary, then went on to train at Nairobi and Muhimbili University. With 15 years of experience at Mbagathi, Marsabit, and Kenyatta Hospitals, she is now a Nominated Member of the Marsabit County Assembly, representing women, youth, and people with disabilities. As Chair of Health Services, she is a fitness enthusiast, social activist, and enjoys mountain hiking.
ABDIAZIZ BORU TISE
Director of Communications Born on 10/10/1995 in Marsabit Central, Saku Sub County, Marsabit County. He went to St. John Primary School, St. Cyprian High School, and later joined Kenyatta University to pursue a degree in Community Resource Management and Extension. At the university, he serves as chief delegate and later serves as finance secretary. Abdiaziz recently completed a youth engagement and empowerment program in Kenya initiated by United Nations Office of Counter Terrorism. He currently serves as the first speaker of Saku Youth Assembly and also advocates on issues of SRHR, peace and reconciliation, climate change, and more.
H.Warden Juma Boru Halake
Head of Digital Marketing & Publicity, Pius is a seasoned civil engineer and digital marketing expert, currently serving as the Head of Digital Marketing at Marsabit Walk Movement. He has a diverse background, having worked with leading organizations like Savannah Cement, FLSmidth, and AYOKI, with a notable role as an Assistant Site Engineer on a road construction project in Kisii. As the Founder and CEO of ARTBEAT PHOTOGRAPHY KENYA, Pius’s creative venture gained international recognition at the 2022 Aster Guardian Global Nursing Awards, thanks to Anna Qabale Duba HSC.
